Job Title: Financial and Expenditure Analyst

Reporting To: Project Manager, Enterprise Asset Management


Job Description:

Ø  Develop and implement financial system requirements to manage MTN assets

Ø  Coordinate the integration, operationalisation and adequate support of required system functionality

Ø  Coordinate and support MTNN assets financial control strategy

Ø  Support Project Manager, Enterprise Asset Management in the definition of assets lifecycle costs which includes maintenance, deployment, depreciation, obsolescence, swap out and upgrade

Ø  Provide necessary information to ILC consultants to draft MTNN assets management financial treatment strategy

Ø  Identify requisite accounting standards requirements to be incorporated into assets management strategy

Ø  Review and ensure conformance of assets tracking processes and procedures to MTNN asset management PPPs.

Ø  Analyze asset life-cycle cost implications on business plan

Ø  Ensure alignment of technical plans with financial control and assets utilization strategy

Ø  Ensure capex reduction through efficient monitoring of asset utilization and depreciation plan

Ø  Contribute to the optimization of assets budgeting and capitalization process and principles

Ø  Contribute to the optimization of procurement and logistics process in line with overall asset management objectives

Ø  Perform other tasks as assigned by the Enterprise Asset Life-cycle Management Manager

Required Skills:

Ø  At least 4 years work experience

Ø  Experience in a similar role in the telecommunications environment.

Qualification:

·                     First degree or equivalent in Accounting or related field Professional qualification (ACA)

·                     Open plan office Normal MTNN working conditions May work extended hours
